I wanted to let you know Green Mountain Transit's FY23 Public Budget Meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 12th at 4:30 p.m. at GMT's 101 Queen City Park Road location and virtually via Zoom, link below.

The proposed budget includes FY23 Capital budget plan, route reduction in our neighborhood, and fare free transit changes. I encourage you to attend and share your thoughts on the presentation.
I have been a Burlington Commissioner to GMT for almost three years now.
Like most businesses GMT has been deeply challenged by COVID. I want to thank all our staff, and especially our drivers, who have kept public transportation options available during this pandemic.
While some businesses are bouncing back, we are still seeing low ridership and are not projected to return to pre-pandemic levels in the near future.
At the Board level we have asked many questions and had rich discussions.
It is important we also hear what riders and the public are thinking.
