On Monday, January 17 at 7:30 a.m., the Williston-Richmond Rotary Club and the Williston Racial Equity Partnership will host a virtual observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Everyone in Williston is welcome to attend as we recognize the importance of Dr. King's leadership in the struggle for a more just, compassionate, and inclusive society and recommit ourselves to that struggle today. The event will feature remarks from a variety of community members, including Debbie Ingram of Vermont Interfaith Action, Cristalee McSweeney of the Williston Community Justice Center, Pastor Paul Eyer of the Williston Federated Church and Dennis Francis of the Williston Racial Equity Partnership. Additional speakers are to be announced. To join the event, use the following Zoom link: https://bit.ly/MLKDayWilliston.
