Hearing About Berlin Pond

Past event
May 27, 2014

If you have an interest or opinion on either side of the following issue you may want to attend the upcoming hearing for public testimony:

A 2012 Vermont Supreme Court Ruling allowed recreational access to Berlin Pond: that access includes swimming, fishing, hunting and boating. Gasoline engines are permitted on the water or ice, in everything but boats.

The Vermont Agency of Natural Resources (ANR) is reviewing a petition submitted by Citizens To Protect Berlin Pond (CTPBP) that will return Berlin Pond to full protection. A hearing of public testimony is scheduled for Tuesday May 27, 6:00-8:00 PM at the Berlin Elementary School in Berlin.
