A Virtual Presentation

The League of Women Voters, in partnership with Kellogg-Hubbard Library, is pleased to present the next in its 2021/22 Speaker Series on "Racism and Public Health." The series offers a survey of the issues, personal and community experiences with racism, the role of environmental health policy, and information about efforts ongoing in Vermont to eradicate the impact of racism on public health.

Public policies governing land use, housing, occupational health, and industrial development all have a direct impact on the health of workers and communities. Jonathan Rosenbloom, Professor of Law at Vermont Law School, will discuss the disparate impact of such policies on communities of color, and in turn on the health of those communities.
