Maine, Alaska, and Utah have all passed bills that allow or require Ranked Choice Voting in specific elections. Our state legislators have at least three bills for Ranked Choice Voting in front of them this session. How would these bills impact Vermont?
If you are interested in learning more about them, and possibly speaking to your State Senators about them, please join me at 7:30 PM this Thursday on a Zoom videoconference.
You can call in by regular telephone if you don't have a computer and good internet.*
Here is the link to register, but it is still OK to register even after the meeting has started. We are happy to have you join us, even if you make a last-minute decision.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
*When you register, you will see a phone number to call if you don't have access to the internet. You dial the phone number, then follow the instructions in the recording for dialing/typing in the meeting code and password. You may need to unmute your phone; *6 may work.
This meeting is especially for anyone from towns in the Caledonia Senate District, with current Senators Jane Kitchel and Joe Benning: Caledonia County: Barnet, Burke, Danville, Groton, Hardwick, Kirby, Lyndon, Newark, Peacham, Ryegate, St. Johnsbury, Sheffield, Stannard, Sutton, Walden, Waterford and Wheelock; and Orange County: Bradford, Fairlee, Newbury, Orange, Topsham and West Fairlee.
But it is relevant to voters across the state, and people are welcome to attend the beginning and leave when it gets less relevant to them.
If you are interested but unable to attend at that time, please email me directly at bjkellermd@gmail.com
