This Saturday at 3:20, a band of players from Cabot Community Theater will be performing a Mummers' play at the Cabot Twelfth Night celebration near the town common! Mummers' plays are broadly comic short plays traditionally performed in English villages, with stock characters combined with topical references and jokes. CCT's play is a blend of traditional texts and characters from Cabot's history and present day, with some fooling, swordfighting, and just a little local magic!

The Cabot Village 12th Night Celebration gives the community an opportunity to mark the end of the holiday season and celebrate the new year. Family activities on the Village Common include: the Cabot School choir, community singing, games, wagon rides, ice skating, a hot cocoa station, and a sunset parade led by the Brass Balagan street band! Visit Cabotarts.org for a full schedule of the day's activities--all will be outside or online, and all events are free!
