Come join the Fox Paw Tracking Club on the first Saturday of every month at the Stranahan Town Forest in Marshfield as we explore the diverse habitats of our North Woods Vermont home. We'll put together the stories of the land based on the tracks we see and talk about the hidden lives of our animal neighbors. We'll provide some loose structure and instruction, so bring your curiosity and your questions!
Our next meeting is this Saturday, January 1st, from 9 AM - Noon. For those who won't be able to participate on New Year's Day, we're offering an additional January tracking outing on Saturday the 15th, also from 9 AM - Noon. There are no rain dates — we'll be out there in (almost) any weather!
Our non-human neighbors live rich and complex lives all around us, but unless we're taught how to see it, we'll never know what they're up to. So come join us as we identify tracks in order to interpret behavior, discuss the ways animals move across the landscape, and talk about how our wild neighbors are earning their livings during this winter month.
