On Saturday, January 8, at 8 a.m., Vergennes Lions Club members will be picking up discarded Christmas trees for mulching. Everyone in the city are asked to have their trees at curbside by 8 a.m. The city crew will chip the trees for residents use as mulch next summer. Thanks, and Happy New Year!
