Dave Wilcox, State Lands Forester, will present a program entitled "Selecting and Planting a Tree" on Tuesday, May 27th, from 6 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier.
A well-selected and well-planted tree is an investment that provides years of enjoyment. Whether you are seeking a tree for shade, privacy, beauty, or all of the above, Dave Wilcox will describe the method of selecting the right tree for the right place. He will then guide us through the steps to plant a tree to insure it has a long, healthy life.
This program is sponsored by the Central Vermont Extension Master Gardeners, the Montpelier Tree Board, and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Admission is free. The program is open to the public, and eligible for EMG education hours. No advance registration is required.
