Winter Solstice Celebration

Past event
Dec 21, 2021, 5:30 to 6:15 PM

Tuesday, December 21st, the winter solstice occurs and marks both the shortest day and longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. While most think of the winter as a dark time, actually we are celebrating the return of the light. Join River Buffum at the Waterbury Public Library as she leads in a meditation of reflection, gratitude and intention-setting at 5:30 PM. Harpist Judi Byron will be accompanying the meditation with an invite to go deeper within, as the resonance of the harp brings peace and comfort. No need to register--come and be blessed by stillness in this busy time of year. From 5:30-6:15 PM.
