Bundle up and be a community scientist at the Christmas Bird Count, an international holiday tradition to count birds for conservation! Contribute to one of the longest-running bird counts in the country, with a team of volunteer counters at Lake Paran!

Blake Jones, Bennington College faculty member and ornithologist, will lead a walk at Lake Paran to identify and record as many species as possible.

The walk will begin at the Lake Paran Pavilion (269 Houghton Street, North Bennington, VT) this Saturday @ 8am.

Wear warm layers and boots.

Ages 7 & up, Binoculars provided for children.

Coffee and tea will be served to warm us up for the count.
