A Winter Solstice Blood Drive at the South Hero Fire and Rescue station is being held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from Noon to 6 PM. The building is located at 131 Community Drive, South Hero.
Of the 69 available appointments, 36 are booked. Grand Isle residents are invited to help fill the other 33 appointments booked to hit the drive goal. Please go to https://www.redcrossblood.org/ to find this event and book your appointment.
If you have never donated before, members of the fire and rescue departments will be on hand to offer support. If you haven't donated in a while, now is the time. Blood supplies are low.
Cookies and snacks are provided to all donors. In addition, all donors will receive a "Spread the Cheer" long-sleeved Red Cross T-shirt. See you soon!
