We will share updates about legislative health care accomplishments and will have a representative from Vermont Health Connect on hand to answer questions about Open Enrollment.
If you are a Vermonter buying on the individual market, you should now pay no more than 8.5 percent of your income on health insurance. Small businesses with fewer than 100 employees and individuals purchasing health insurance outside of their workplaces can save substantial dollars on healthcare premiums as a result of (1) significantly increased federal funding for healthcare premium support and (2) a change in the law passed by the Vermont legislature regarding health insurance. Many small businesses, nonprofits and municipalities should also see reduced health insurance premiums.
