The Christmas Trees sales at the Wesley Methodist Church to support the Foodshelfs and Good Neighbor Fund were started in Dec 1991 by Ed and Robin Lemery in memory of their son Jason. These sales have continued continuously for 30 years and have raised $200,000 to assist our neighbors thorough the Foodshelf and Good Neighbor Fund in time of need.
On Saturday Dec 11th at 11 am on the lawn in front of the Christmas trees at 56 South Main St Waterbury the church and community members will be recognizing Ed and Robin Lemery for initiating this community project and and extending our thanks and appreciation to them. The community is invited to join us in showing our appreciation to Ed and Robin.
