HANDS, in partnership with Age Well, Burlington School Food Project, Elks Lodge, Penny Cluse Café, Temple Sinai, and many volunteers and businesses, will deliver a hot meal and giftbag throughout Chittenden County on Christmas Day to 1,000 older adults.
We'd LOVE your help with spreading the magic on a tough day for so many! We still need items for giftbags---we are es
pecially requesting boxes of raisins, cans of soup, toothpaste, jars of peanut butter, shampoo, and small containers of unsweetened applesauce. We'd appreciate a financial donation...even a small amount helps. If you know a senior 50 years or older who would like either a Ham dinner or Vegetarian butternut squash and mushroom lasagna, please call Age Well at 802-865-0360 by December 17 to reserve a meal.
