Santa Claus is coming to Middletown Springs!!! On Sunday, December 12th, the Middletown Springs Volunteer Fire Department will be helping Santa make his way to the firehouse ! Santa will parade atop a fire truck to the firehouse at 1:00pm. The young and young at heart love this event. This event is popular with all ages! We have several community members partake in this event each year. Everyone in attendance shares in the spirit of the holiday season!
Children will have the opportunity to sit with Santa (socially distanced) and tell him what is on their lists this year. During the event, children will enjoy holiday music, candy canes, and an individually wrapped sugar cookies. Children will receive reindeer food, to put out on Christmas Eve, courtesy of the fire department. Unfortunately, due to COVID- 19 concerns, the traditional Breakfast With Santa will have to wait another year.
The magic mailbox is set up at Crossman's General Store this year! Please stop by with your Letters To Santa and drop them in the mailbox! Thank you Crossman's General Store for helping out Santa with this very important task! Letters to Santa forms will be available at the firehouse this Sunday. Please take one, fill it out, and place it in the magic mailbox. Letters will be sent straight to the North Pole!
The Santa's arrival is a favorite event for the Middletown Springs Volunteer Fire Department. This event is all about children, our community, and the magic of the holidays. There is nothing more satisfying than watching the faces of the children light up with joy, as Santa arrives and greets the children each year! The young and the young at heart are all welcome to attend.
BRING YOUR CHRISTMAS LISTS AND YOUR CAMERAS!!!!! The fire department has gotten creative with a zero contact way to take pictures with Santa!
The fun will continue into the evening, with the Middletown Springs Community Church hosting Christmas In The Park and the tree lighting. Please stop by to see the tree lit and join in some singing as well!
