12/8 at 1 p.m.— Wrap up a Good Read
Join Charlotte Library staff for a book show-and-tell session, just in time for holiday shopping. You'll come away with a helpful list of book gift suggestions for all ages. Books available to purchase at the Flying Pig in Shelburne. This program is co-sponsored by the Charlotte Library.
Masks required; maximum of 35 participants.

The next Red Cross Blood Drive at the Center is this Thursday, 12/9, from 2 to 7 p.m. Please call 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit Red CrossBlood.org to register to donate blood. Covid health protocols will be followed for the safety of those participating in this event.

You can join the Gents Breakfast on Thursday, 12/9, at 7 a.m.—register by Tuesday by calling the Center at (802) 425-6345.

Check out the Charlotte Senior Center Winter Schedule posted on the Center website, CharlotteSeniorCenterVT.org. New offerings include Meditation with Charlie on Fridays at 7:30 a.m., an additional Chair Yoga class on Wednesdays at 10 a.m., and Mindfulness Meditation Practice (on Zoom) with Jill Abilock on Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m. You can register in person at the Center, by mail, or by phone at (802) 425-6345.

The December Artist is Kim Senior, an accomplished painter with an extensive and varied body of work. She has been focusing on plein air landscapes, painted in oils, which she completes on site.
The best times to view art are: Tues., Wed. & Thurs. (not 12/9), 2:30–4 p.m., and Fri., 12:30–4 p.m. Call (802)425-6345 to check for other times.

Currently most Senior Center courses, events and talks are in person. We will post masking and vaccination requirements at the front door and on our website, CharlotteSeniorCenterVT.org. If you are in doubt, please call (802) 425-6345 before coming in.
