The South Hero Volunteer Fire Department and South Hero Rescue will host the upcoming Winter Solstice Blood Drive on December 21, 2021, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the South Hero Fire & Rescue Station located at 131 Community Drive.

There are appointments available, but they are filling fast. The goal is to fill every appointment to meet the need. Cookies and snacks are provided to all donors. In addition, all donors will receive a "Spread the Cheer" long-sleeved Red Cross T-shirt.

There is a serious need for blood donations right now and throughout the holiday season. This local blood drive is to meet that demand.
