Hello Neighbors,

It's time to gear up for another year of winter fun at the Lakeside Skating Rink! For those new to the neighborhood, many neighbors pitch in to set up and maintain a free community ice rink next to the basketball court in the park.

This Sunday, December 5, we'll have our first workday of the 2021/2022 season. We'll put up the boards, rake leaves, etc. 9:30am to Noon. Bring your gloves. Optional - cordless drills, rakes.

The rink runs on community effort...and donations to pay for the materials (mainly the plastic liner that we purchase each year). More information on donation opportunities coming soon.

Thanks to Burlington Parks, Recreation & Waterfront (for providing the park, equipment and lights), DPW's Water Resources Division (for filling the rink), the St John's Club (for hosting the annual fundraising breakfast) and all of our great volunteers. We couldn't do it without you!
