The Rochester Area Climate Initiative is now focused on three areas - housing, supporting local food and growers, and promoting energy opportunities including electric car charging, energy use at municipal buildings, promoting the Weatherization Program, and evaluating sites for solar in the Valley.

On the evening of December 6, task forces will come together to develop strategic action plans around these 3 priority areas. The Vermont Council on Rural Development will provide facilitators, and a resource team of experts from the government, non-profit, and private sector will participate. Across this list of priorities, everyone has something to contribute.
