The Vermont Choral Union performs two holiday concerts this weekend:

Saturday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at First Congregational Church, St. Albans
Sunday, Dec. 5 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Joseph (just off Elmwood St. in Burlington.)

We ask that you be vaccinated and wear a mask (we'll be singing in masks).

It's been a tough year and this program is designed to offer a respite that promises hope and healing.

A highlight will be the premiere of "Missa Pandemica: Mass in Time of Pandemic" by one of our own tenors -- Vermont singer and composer Maarten van Ryckevorsel. Our 25-person a cappella choir will also present reflective music by Stephen Paulus, Marques Garrett, Tomás Luis de Victoria, César Alejandro Carrillo, Franz Biebl and Eric Whitacre, as well as some traditional carols. Refresh yourself with some beautiful music!
