This year, the River of Light parade in Waterbury celebrates its 12th year with the theme of "What Brings You Joy?" This year they are delighted to bring the parade back to the streets of downtown Waterbury.

Don't miss this truly magical event! On Saturday, December 4 at 5:00 pm, the parade will launch onto Main Street from a new location—the horseshoe driveway of the Vermont State Office Complex. The River of Light will flow past the center of town to wrap up as usual in Doc Rowe Park, with Fire spinners Cirque de Fuego, music, bonfires, and hot chocolate for all. Music will include Brass Balagan and Burlington's street Samba percussion band Sambatucada. There will be many creative surprises to inspire everyone's joy.

Masks are strongly recommended for participants and spectators.
