Wolcott, VT – An Alternatives Presentation for the project listed below will be held on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021, beginning at 6:15 PM at the Wolcott Town Office, located at 28 Railroad Street in Wolcott, VT. The meeting will be held jointly between the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) and the Town of Wolcott. The meeting may also be attended remotely via zoom. The zoom link will be posted on the Selectboard Meeting Agenda on the Town's website prior to the meeting.
Bridge Project:
Wolcott BO 1446(38) – Town Highway 3 (School Street), Bridge 6 over Lamoille River
The recommended alternative includes a full bridge replacement while maintaining traffic on an offsite detour during construction.
The intent of the meeting is to provide an overview of this project to Town Officials, local residents and businesses, emergency services and other interested parties. There will be a review of the existing site conditions, proposed work, and overall schedule followed by a question-and-answer period. Representatives from both VTrans and the Town of Wolcott will be available at the meeting to address public concerns about the project.
