The holidays are here, and it's time to create a fresh holiday arrangement with greens and cuttings of wine-red dogwoods, fir, pine, cedar, and more. Flower gardeners Laurie Fleming and Megan Hartigan will provide materials and instructions. Bring your own arrangement container, pruners, even your own garden cuttings if you choose. Each class limit is 12, materials cost included in fee.

This program will be presented at the UVM Horticulture Farm, 65 Green Mountain Drive, So. Burlington.

Bio: Laurie Fleming's passion is flowers. She received a degree in Plant and Soil Science and worked for a time as a floral designer. Her biggest projects have been maintaining an extensive flower garden as well as a small blueberry farm. She is proud that was picked to showcase her gardens on a Flynn Garden Tour as well as being published in a national gardening magazine.
Bio: Megan Hartigan is a farmer florist based in Stowe, VT. Her business, Sprig Flower Farm & Floral Design (www.sprigvt.com) specializes in weddings, events, bulk buckets and wholesale. Megan has an extensive background in horticulture and landscape design and gravitates toward using unusual and foraged items in her design esthetics. She also loves talking and teaching about plants and is excited to get creative with winter plant materials!
