MRVARI Anti Racism Discussion Sun. Nov. 28 at 6:30pm

Past event
Nov 28, 2021, 6:30 to 8 PM

Where: Village Meeting House (ground floor of Waitsfield church).
When: 6:30-8:00 pm, this Sunday 11/28.
Why: Because our world is broken and we have work to do.

Please join your neighbors and compatriots for a discussion about racial justice in our communities, and why it is so hard to achieve. We will share observations, struggles, learning, hope, and strategies in a supportive, respectful setting.

We will be willing to experience discomfort together, in the service of developing into the best anti-racist people we can be. And we will support each other in keeping the focus on ourselves (we all know and understand less than we think we do), with humility, modesty, and curiosity.

Everyone is welcome to attend these discussions, just as long as you're vaccinated! There is no expectation, no preparation required, no need to adhere to any particular political party. Just please bring your good hearts, and arrive with your mind wide open.

We look forward to connecting with you soon!
