CVU Theater Presents Something Rotten Dec. 3-4

Past event
Dec 3 to 4, 2021

CVU theater invites you to come join us for, Something Rotten, the hilarious mashup of 16th century Shakespeare and 21st century Broadway! Brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play, but are stuck in the shadow of the Renaissance rock star known as "The Bard". When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theater involves singing, dancing, and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world's very first musical! Created by Grammy Award-winning songwriter Wayne Kirkpatrick, and successful screenwriters Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell, Something Rotten was lauded by audience members and critics alike, receiving several Best Musical nominations and hailed by Time Out New York as "the funniest musical comedy in at least 400 years".

Showtimes are Friday, December 3, at 7pm, and Saturday, December 4, at 2pm and 7pm at the CVU theater. Purchase tickets ahead of time online at www.ticketsource.us/cvutheatre, or at the door the day of the performance. Be sure to check the ticket site to see if the show is sold out. Masks required. Due to Covid there will be socially distanced seating between parties with limited seating, so reserve your tickets now!
