Shameless self promotion!
My name is Vanessa Dunleavy, I grew up in Middlebury and recently moved back with my husband after 15 years in NYC. Over the last 4 years, my childhood friend, Miranda Ferriss Jones (also a native Vermonter) and I have been working on an original musical, called "Showing Up." In 2019, we did a workshop of the material at Town Hall Theater, followed by a talk-back, where we received incredible feedback from the community. We've taken the last 2 year to rework and rewrite the show, based on that feedback and we're so excited to present the latest version at Town Hall Theater this weekend.
Shows are this Thursday and Friday (18th and 19th) at 7:30 PM, with a Saturday matinee (the 20th) at 2:00 PM.
This is a truly home-grown work, with Simon Broucke's orchestrations and Doug Anderson as director and dramaturg. We hope you'll come check it out!
