Remember the good old days when face-to-face dialogue and the act of listening was a valued and practiced means toward building healthy communities? I think most of us can agree that nowadays' preferred method of hollering as loudly as possible across perceived divides at people we can't even see isn't working very well toward that end.

This upcoming virtual free event on Thursday evening offers a great opportunity for honing listening skills and seeing how other Vermonters with different views are taking "one small step" to tackle difficult but necessary conversations.
