Christmas Eve is around the corner!
All Calais kids are invited to join in on the fun of singing together at the Old West Church's Christmas Eve Service. The children's choir will be practicing the two Sundays before the service, getting together in the afternoon to sing, enjoy Christmas cookies and hot chocolate by the fire and do some sledding (snow dependent!). Please help us spread the word and invite kids in your neighborhood. Adults are welcome to drop kids off or stay and enjoy the gathering.
What: Calais Children's Christmas Choir Practice/Family Christmas Sledding Parties!
When: Sunday, December 12th and Sunday, December 19th from 2-4 pm
Where: Outside on the porch and by the fire at 2192 Jack Hill Road, East Calais, VT (Mary Alice Proffitt and Tennessee, Sylvia and Ursula Lamb's house)
Bring: Warm layers, snow gear and mittens, a mask, your singing voice

Regarding COVID, please read the following note from Barbara McAndrew from the Old West Church Association about plans for Christmas Eve:
"Everyone involved should understand that: a) the church is closed on Christmas Eve; no one will be allowed inside the building b) the entire event on Christmas Eve is outside the church; and c) the OWCA trustees may have to cancel the entire thing for a variety of reasons. We are not doing printed programs for attendees, just for "performers" so we know who is doing what."
