Hi Montpelier,

I'm a pianist who lived in Montpelier from 1985 to 2017 but now live mainly in Toronto, Canada. I am here in town to give a live in-person classical piano concert Saturday afternoon at 3 pm at Bethany Church. This is part of a 9-concert tour of New England I am doing this month which are the first performances I have done since the pandemic began a year and a half ago. For this return to performing I have created a special program of lively, upbeat music by Bach, Brahms, Ligeti, and Ginastera intended to refresh spirits and bring people together in this time of isolation. Admission is by donation ($20 suggested but any amount fine), and you can pay with cash or checks at the door or buy with a card in advance through a page Bethany Church has set up on the Eventbrite platform. Masks and vaccine cards will be required and I'm requesting people as a courtesy notify me in advance by email at MA@MAPiano.com or by phone at 229-0984 so we can monitor numbers and stay below the maximum seating capacity. As of this writing 70 people have made reservations so there's still plenty of space. I'm very excited to be back in Montpelier and would love to see old friends at this concert on Saturday afternoon, and make some new friends too.
