Mara Welton, Slow Food USA Director of Programs and Slow Food USA State Governor for Vermont will share the inspiring history of the Slow Food movement, from its origins in Italy to how it spread across the globe as well as the movement's far-reaching and visionary programs. She will tell us the story of Slow Food Vermont, and how the mission of promoting good, clean, and fair food for all is being nurtured here in the Green Mountains. The event is being presented in partnership with the Vermont Italian Cultural Association.
