Due to an uptick in local COVID-19 cases, the Select Board will be holding its meetings via Zoom at least through October, though Town Hall will be open and staffed for in-person participation, per. 1 V.S.A. § 312 (a)(2)(D). 5:10 FY23 Budget Workshop
Town Administration
Reviewing FY23 budget proposals for Town administration, including the Listers and Zoning, as well as the Conservation Commission, the Planning Commission, the Recreation Department, and the Cemetery Commission. In addition, the Board will review BlueCross/BlueShield plans for the 2022 calendar year. Action possible.

6:20 Central Vermont State Police Community Advisory Board Update
The CVSPCAB has been struggling to be an active board as a result of COVID, the current stresses on the VSP with staffing and attitudes, and lack of town interaction and representation. Kim Bolduc, Middlesex's lone representative to the Central Vermont State Police Community Advisory Board, will ask the Select Board for input. Action possible.
6:35 Highway Department Update
Update on whether local trucking companies will be able to provide contracted snow plowing this summer due to a road crew shortage. Action possible.
6:50 Revising the Town's Nepotism Policy
If necessary, the Board may resume its November 9, 2021 discussion about either revising, amending or waiving the nepotism provision in the Town's Personnel Policy in order to permit potentially hiring the Road Foreman's brother-in-law. Action possible.
OTHER BUSINESS
- Approval of the minutes of the November 2, 2021 Select Board meeting and the November 9, 2021 Special Meeting. Action likely.
- Considering Sara Birgé's request to be nominated as a Lister until the March 2022 Town meeting. Action likely.
