On Saturday, November 13th from 10 – Noon, The Sustainable Energy Outreach Network will present their 6th Annual (virtual) Sustainable Home Tour. This tour showcases new and renovated homes that have given consideration to the design, product selection, and technology to high performance construction. This includes energy efficiency, water and vapor management, indoor air quality, health, safety, carbon absorbing material, aging in place design, and more. 3 homes will be featured: a renovated run down house in Bellows Falls, a new hempcrete in Goshen, and a new, small and functionally efficient home in Norwich. To view all the homes and to register for this FREE webinar please go to www.seon.info/hometour.
The Crofter-Green house in Bellows Falls conveys a unique story about their conscious decision to make sustainable living part of their value system guiding all decisions they make from the house, gardens, transportation, and a sense of community. It is also an example what is possible given our current building stock in the Village.
