Our November book club selection is The Beekeeper of Aleppo, by Christy Lefteri. I chose this title after thoroughly enjoying the writing and story in Lefteri's new novel, Songbirds. According to Goodreads.com this is "the unforgettable love story of a mother blinded by loss and her husband who insists on their survival as they undertake the Syrian refugee trail to Europe." I'm excited to read another of Lefteri's books, and I hope you'll join me. We'll discuss the book over Zoom on Tuesday, November 30 at 7:00.
