With the turn of the calendar page, it's time for us to say "See ya later!" to our summer market season and to jump right into the winter season.
That means we'll return to the cafeteria at Benn Hi, the former junior high school located at 650 Main Street. If you didn't get a chance to see us there last year, come take a look. We'll have in-person shopping, including some new vendors who might have just what you're looking for. We'll be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday. Masks will be required for indoor shopping.
Our winter season also means we're bringing back online ordering for curbside pickup, and you can place your orders for this weekend starting now at https://benningtonfm.eatfromfarms.com - make sure to place those orders before Thursday night, and look for more products to be added to the site in the coming weeks. Note that curbside pickup will be available from 10 a.m. to noon.
This Saturday will also be Meet Your Elected Representatives Day at the market, so make sure to say hello to your local Select Board rep, school board member, or Assemblyperson.
Don't forget to grab a cup of hot soup from Empty Bowls, which will join us to discuss what you can do to help combat hunger in our area. The Bennington Museum will also be on hand with kids activities.
Music will also return to the indoor market with local singer-songwriter Hillary Chase!
Also, our new canvas tote bags are in, featuring a nice olive color. Perfect for carrying all of your goodies home from the market. You can find them on our online store or at the market manager's booth this weekend!
