Hello neighbors. The holiday season is fast approaching and Mad River Valley volunteers are once again working to provide Thanksgiving Baskets to local families that need one. If you and your family are in a position to help there are multiple ways to pitch in!
Food Drive SATURDAY November 13 - outside Shaw's. We are specifically looking for apple sauce, boxed biscuit mix, boxes of brownie mix, canned fruits, canned vegetables, boxed crackers, canned cranberry sauce, cans or bottles of gravy, onions, jars of peanut butter, stuffing and canned tuna.
Non-perishable foods can also be dropped at the Valley Reporter or East Warren Market.
You can donate funds that will purchase turkeys and other perishable goods ahead of time by sending a check to Mad River Interfaith Council PO Box 342 Waitsfield, VT 05673.
