Arctic Security Symposium, Nov. 3-4, IRL and Remote

On November 3 & 4, Norwich University in Northfield, VT. will host an in-person and virtual symposium, "Global Conflict or Cooperation? Evolving Arctic Security" for the 27th annual NU Military Writers' Symposium. This event is free and open to the public.

Over two days, guest speakers Lilian Alessa, Sam Alexander, Troy Bouffard, James Kraska, and P. Whitney Lackenbauer will present on such diverse topics as international law and geostrategy, operational arctic security, Arctic indigenous communities, and Russian, American, and Canadian roles in the region. The 2021 Colby Award winner, Mark Treanor, will give a talk on his book, A Quiet Cadence, a novel of Vietnam.
