Craftsbury's transfer station (trash and recycling drop-off) is CLOSED this Saturday, 10/30 due to staffing issues. Sigh.
We expect it to be open again next weekend, but this Saturday, 10/30, please look for alternate facilities. Wolcott on Gulf Rd should be open, as is All Metals on Rt 15.
Our waste/recycling station is actively hiring weekend site attendants with a goal of keeping our station and others open each week. Pick up an application at any location or visit the Employment tab on the website: https://lrswmd.org/about/#staff-information. The hourly rate is $17/hr!
