It's time for trick or treat, but don't leave out your four-legged friends! Instead, dress them up and bring them to the Bennington Farmers' Market this Saturday for doggie trick or treating, presented by Great Fields Downtown. We'll have homemade treats, plenty of opportunities for your dogs to mingle, and if your dog doesn't yet have a costume, Great Fields will have some on hand to get your pooch into the spirit.

Treats for us humans will abound on Saturday too, from delicious local baked goods to organic meats to fresh-picked veggies. Our new tote bags are in, so grab one of those to support the market. We'll also have Cindy Baxter playing the tunes for us throughout the day.

We're located in the Deer Park (100 Veterans Memorial Drive) with parking across from Tastee Freeze or in front of and behind the chamber of commerce building. We recommend that anybody who hasn't been vaccinated wear a mask.

Take note that this Saturday will be the last outdoor market of the season. Starting November 6, we'll head inside for our winter season market in the cafeteria of the former junior high school (650 Main Street). Masks will be required of everybody, regardless of vaccination status.
