Makersphere Presents: A Wreath-Decorating Workshop

Past event
Nov 13, 2021, 1 to 1:30 PM

Celebrate the season and add some pizzazz to your home with this easy class on wreath decorating hosted by Evergreen Gardens of Vermont. This year, skip the store bought wreaths and try your own hand at styling the adornment that is typically your holiday guest's first impression. Starting with a made in Vermont balsam wreath we will show you how to use both natural and traditional materials to add flare and inspire your holiday home decoration. And a wreath can be lot about the bow. Learn how to make a bow like a pro.

We encourage you to express your own style by bringing your own supplies/objects (think feathers, figurines, seeds, favorite cloth, abandoned bird's nest, etc.) that you have always wanted to incorporate in a decorative way. Decorating supplies will be available and individually priced as the class will be within the greenhouse at Evergreen Gardens – Waterbury's own wreath decorating mecca! This will be a fun class to do with a friend. And considering making one as a gift! Classes will remain small on purpose to maintain a safe environment. In fact, we encourage you to bring your own tools like wire cutters, pliers, scissors, gloves, glue guns.

Join Laura Parette and Whitney Aldrich in an hour of creative play in a decorative way. Registration required: https://maker-sphere.coursestorm.com/category/adult-workshops-2021
