Speaker, "How Does Racism Affect Public Health"

Vermont League of Women Voters in partnership with Kellogg-Hubbard Library presents in their Speaker Series, Dr. Maria Mercedes Avila who'll talk about how to eradicate the impact of racism on our health. On Wednesday, November 10, 7:00 PM, Dr. Avila will offer an overview of this pressing issue.

She is Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics in the College of Medicine, UVM. Included in her involvements, she has trained more than 1500 providers in the state.
