Hyde Park will be thinking about spring with the Flower Power initiative to connect Hyde Park Village and North Hyde Park Village with a Blooming Bridge of daffodils!
The idea is to plant the bulbs along the roadside along the "Bridge Route" (1) Lanpher Library; 2. East Main Street to Centerville Road; 3. Centerville Road to North Hyde Park Road; 4. Ferry Street to VT 100; 5. End at Gihon Valley Hall)
You can pick up a bag of 25 free daffodil bulbs at the Gihon Valley Hall in North Hyde Park, or the Lanpher Memorial Library in Hyde Park Village on Saturday October 30th, 10:00-1:00.
The Lanpher Library will have bulbs in bags on the bench just inside the Library's entrance on Church St.
The Gihon Valley Hall will have them on the porch of the Hall.
If you can't make it for Saturday, you can make arrangements to pick up bulbs at a later time.
Please report locations of the planting of bulbs, if possible, using the closest 911 house number to: ron@hydeparkvt.com
You can plant at intersections, around signs and places easily viewed from the road.
