Help Your Vermont Neighbors - Donate New Socks to the Norwich Hockey Sock Toss, which occurs at the game on Oct. 30.

The Norwich University men's ice hockey team has teamed up with another Northfield icon, Darn Tough Vermont®, for the third time to hold the Norwich Hockey Sock Toss on Saturday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. in Kreitzberg Arena. Darn Tough Vermont® will be donating 1,500 pairs of socks to be thrown onto the ice when Norwich scores its first goal vs. Salve Regina. Fans are encouraged to add to this wonderful donation and can do so in one of three ways:
- Drop socks off at a designated bin at Northfield Savings Bank (in Northfield)
- Drop socks off in a designated bin at Norwich University's Wise Campus Center – outside of the Student Activities Office, room 211
- Bring their own new socks to the game

Every sock thrown onto the ice will be donated to one of four Vermont organizations to help keep our community warm during the long New England winter. The four organizations that will receive the donations are the Veteran's Place in Northfield, Trinity United Methodist Church in Montpelier, Montpelier Food Pantry and The Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS) in Burlington.
