The Vermont Crafts Council presents Open Studio Weekend May 24 & 25, 10AM - 5PM both days. It is a weekend to head out and explore art and craft studios that work in a great number of mediums from clay to glass to metal. Locally, there are a number of studios participating, including Holly Walker, Two Potters, David Hurwitz, White River Craft Center, Naught Hill Pottery, Allen Hill Press, my studio - Third Branch Pottery, and so on. I'll be having a center for children and adults to play around with some clay and learn about the process of creating a piece of pottery. My studio is located at 59 Weston Street in Randolph and is near quite a few other studios that could be explored in a few hours or you could take your time and get a chance to get to know some of us artists and crafters.
