Danville Town Forest Walk

Past event
Oct 30, 2021, 10 AM to 12 PM

The Danville Conservation Commission invites the public to an educational Town Forest Walk in the Rogers Lot Town Forest ( home to the Stump dump) Saturday October 30th at 10 AM.

Join us and our County Forester as he outlines the forest resources in our town forest and the parameters of the upcoming logging which will happen there this winter as part of our Forest Management Plan. Come learn and give input to our town forest resource for the community. Great for students and kids too to learn about tree species, natural communities and forest management!

Dress for the weather and hope to see you there! We will meet at the Stump Dump. Roger Lot Town Forest: 1364-1528 Bruce Badger Memorial Highway, Danville
