What/Where: Halloween Celebration for children of all ages in the format of a "trunk-or-treat". In this version, vehicles will remain parked in the adjacent lot and instead, tables/stations will be located on the East Calais Recreation Field for children to safely parade between.
When: Saturday, 10/30, at 3pm
Volunteers for each festive table/station setup (for 3pm start) may elect to offer treats or tricks. Perhaps you have some illusions or a ghost story to share? A game or race? Madame Moon will also return to this famous Calais tradition, reinvented in our "brave new world", offering her fortune telling prowess. We already have some candy stops, game stations and a photo booth. There are also early plans for a Thriller dance mob... so start practicing!
I've tried to incorporate some ideas into this sign-up genius so we can further frame this event. But your spooktacular creativity and Halloween spirit is most appreciated. Ideally, each volunteer will own their table/station and run with it from set-up to clean-up. Costumes are also highly encouraged and there will be awards for different categories/ages. Questions?
