Tunbridge Town Forest Walk - Drew Road Lot

Past event
Oct 30, 2021, 9 to 11 AM

From the Tunbridge Town Forest Committee:

David Paganelli is going to give our town a "Walk and Talk". Oct 30th - Next Saturday from 9-11.

The topic is our upcoming harvest in the Drew Road town forest.

David is the Vermont Orange County Forester. He has also been our town forester and has had a vision for that forest along with the Forest Committee for many years.

Dress warmly, bring the kids, bring your neighbors, and your own drink. Some snacks (dried fruit, cookies) provided. Explore the Drew Lot - your town forest. It is a somewhat steep, deeply wooded, wonderful forest. Learn a ton from a knowledgeable person about what he sees and thinks about when planning for a harvest in a town forest (it might be a touch different than a regular harvest).

Parking can be challenging so some can park at the bottom of Drew Road and car pool up (consider wearing a mask while carpooling). Some parking up on the landing for folks with 4 wheel drive. Do not drive into any ditches on Drew Road as you will be shocked at how stuck you will become.

Contact Brenda Field if you have any questions- 889-5548, leave a message and she will get back to you.
