Hello Wards 4 & perhaps some of Ward 7 -
Today I write in the capacity of the NPA elected Representative for Ward 4 on the Ad Hoc Committee on Redistricting. Our charge is to obtain public input for the upcoming retooling of the Ward boundaries and other logistical elements of how Burlington residents are represented on City Council and the School Commission. The 2020 CENSUS numbers dictate that this is something Burlington MUST consider.
For the New North End, your representatives in this stage of the process are myself, Jim Holway, and Robert Bristow-Johnson for Ward 7.
You may like to attend the first of a few public meetings - this one is about PROCESS and is in the NNE on Tuesday October 26 - 5pm to 7pm (see below for draft details)
