Downtown Winooski and the City of Winooski are excited to bring you our 2021 Halloween in Winooski event! This beloved community tradition is perfect for residents and visitors and includes an amazing display of over 1000 jack-o-lanterns, fun activities for kids, and event specials from local vendors and businesses.

Want to help support the event? There are many ways to get involved! Please see the schedule below for full details. Please note, masks will be required for all volunteer and event activities – please help us keep this event safe and welcoming for all!

Pumpkin Picking at Farms (Williston, other locations)
Thu Oct 21 & Fri Oct 22: 9 AM – 5 PM

Help pick and load pumpkins onto trucks and trailers. This is the most important step in making Halloween in Winooski a success! Wear boots and clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty! To sign up for this volunteer opportunity, please email: info@downtownwinooski.org.

Community Carving Days @ Winooski Senior Center (123 Barlow St)
Sat Oct 23 – Sun Oct 24: 9 AM – 5 PM

Bring your creativity and carve some pumpkins! If you are coming with a group larger than 4 people, please email meredith@downtownwinooski.org to coordinate. Pickup/take-away pumpkins available too for carving at home please return your carved pumpkins to the Winooski Senior Center by Wed Oct 27.

Additional Volunteering Opportunities

Oct 29: 11 AM, Jack-o-lantern unloading and set-up
Oct 29 – 31: 4:30 PM, Jack-o-lantern lighting
Oct 29: 5 PM, Act as a crossing guard to help people safely walk into and out of Rotary Park at designated crosswalks (high visibility vests and lights provided), 30 minute-1 hour shifts.
