Capital City Concerts and St. Paul's Cathedral present the Borromeo String Quartet on Sunday, October 24 at 3:00 p.m. -- well after the end of the Vermont City Marathon!

This terrific ensemble will play Beethoven's monumental String Quartet No. 15 in A minor, Op. 132 and Adolphus Hailstork's touching String Quartet "Swing Low Sweet Chariot." Flutist Karen Kevra will join the quartet for C.W. Gluck's Minuet and Dance of the Blessed Spirits, from the opera Orfeo ed Euridice.

St. Paul's Cathedral, at 2 Cherry Street, across from the Marriott Courtyard Hotel, is an acoustical marvel, and this will be a great occasion to hear fabulous music played by renowned musicians.

Covid-19 precautions will be in force, including widely spaced seating and required masks; additionally, St. Paul's has a new and highly efficient HVAC system. There is limited free parking, and St. Paul's Cathedral is wheelchair accessible.

Tickets ($25/15) available at the door or online at https://store.capitalcityconcerts.org/
